• Reduce waiting time: The wait to see a doctor can be an uneasy experience, which is heightened when a family member is in pain. More treatment rooms will mean the quicker you can be seen by a doctor, the quicker you can receive your treatment, and the quicker you can go home.
• Make waiting time more comfortable: Comfortable seating, quiet rooms for people experiencing a crisis, and plenty of natural light will make your wait more tolerable. To accommodate parents with children, a play area will be available.
• Serve the community well into the 21st century: Building the new Seven Oaks Emergency Department will ensure families have a facility that meets the community's emergency needs for years to come.
